Celebrate Independence Day with a waterfront train ride along Casco Bay. The museum will be open for the holiday with trains on the hour from 10am-3pm. The train will be departing from Ocean Gateway for shuttle rides to the Independence Day festival on the Eastern Promenade, with a drop-off at Cutter Street. Trains will depart every half hour, times are 5:30-8:00pm. Following the fireworks, our train will return wristband-ticket passengers back to the Ocean Gateway platform.
Passengers must have purchased wristband-tickets to make the return trip. Your wristband-ticket does not entitle you or your party to any additional services at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad museum or during the Stars & Stripes Spectacular.

Wristband-tickets are on sale now for $5 per person. Wristbands are limited in availability and may only be purchased at the museum leading up to the event, or on the train the evening of. As in the past, Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad will provide a one-way ride to the spectacular for a donation to our organization.

The musuem is open for daytime operations from 9:30am-4pm, with trains on the hour from 10am-3pm. The museum will not be open in the evening. Train rides to the fireworks will depart from the Ocean Gateway platform from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
