When operating, the roundtrip 3-mile train ride takes approximately 35-40 minutes.

On operating days, our train station and gift shop are open 9:30am to 4:00pm daily. 

Train service hours and Special Event hours may vary.

Seating on the train is first-come, first-served.

Daily Service Coach Class Train Tickets:
Adults: $15 | Seniors: $13 | Children (Age 3-12): $9 | Children 2 and under: FREE

Daily Service First Class Service:
Adults: $20 | Seniors: $18 | Children (Age 3-12): $16 | Children 2 and under: FREE
First Class features individual cushioned chairs, a complimentary soft drink, and snack!

Please Note: On occasion our train schedule may vary due to scheduled events or unforeseen mechanical issues. Please check social media the day of your visit for the most up-to-date information on operations.

Due to the general nature of our railroad and historic equipment, we cannot guarantee steam or diesel power on any given train. 

All tickets are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-exchangeable. 

FIRST CLASS SERVICE

Ride the rails aboard the First Class car: Combination Car #12 or Combination Car #15. Take in the best views on the train of Casco Bay from your individual, comfortable, padded armchair seat. 

The First Class experience includes a complimentary snack and beverage from the train station's gift shop for each First Class passenger. Make sure to grab your items before boarding! 

Your First Class ticket helps fund Maine Narrow Gauge's ongoing preservation efforts of historic rail equipment.

*First Class Combine #12 is ADA-compliant and has an onboard wheelchair lift. Limit 16 guests per trip. Unfortunately, dogs cannot be accommodated in the First Class cars.

COACH CLASS SERVICE

Experience narrow gauge railroading from a selection of authentic historic passenger railway cars, new-build replicas, and even a 1903-built caboose! Coach Class passenger cars offer a mix of bench seating and classic 1x1 seating. During the warmer months, open-air passenger cars are offered for unobstructed views and excellent airflow. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in Coach Class.
